You are letting someone into your home, or going into someone else’s. We take that seriously on both sides.
How we vet providers
Every listing goes through the same checks before it is visible.
License verification
Trades that legally require a license or registration must supply the number. We check it and display it on the profile so you can confirm it yourself.
Identity and contact
Providers verify an email address and phone number, and business listings must match a real registered business name and address.
Reviewed listings
New listings are reviewed by a person before publishing. Listings that misrepresent services or credentials are removed.
How we protect the booking
Payments held on platform
Money is processed through the site and released after the work is complete, so nothing changes hands before the job is done.
Records kept
Messages, quotes, schedules and payment history are all stored against the booking, so there is a record if a dispute comes up.
Real reviews only
Only customers who booked through the site can leave a review. Providers cannot delete reviews, only respond to them.
Staying safe
Keep it on the platform
Message, quote, schedule and pay through the site. If someone asks you to move to cash or an outside app, that is a red flag and you lose every protection above.
Confirm before you let someone in
Check the name on your booking confirmation matches the person at the door. Ask for photo ID if anything feels off.
Write down the scope
Agree what is included and what it costs in writing, in the booking messages, before work starts.
For providers
Meet the customer at the address on the booking, share your schedule with someone you trust, and report any customer who behaves inappropriately.
Reporting a problem
- Stop the work if anyone is unsafe, and call your local emergency number if there is an immediate danger.
- Contact us with the booking reference and what happened. Include photos or messages if you have them.
- We review the booking record and the account history, and respond with next steps. Accounts that break these rules are suspended.
