a year agoGot k Tips extensions done by Jordin and absolutely love them! I haven’t had extensions in almost 7 years. My previous stylist installed a type of extensions that was always visible (YIKES). I did a consult with Jordin, she addressed all of my concerns and not only that, gave me her instagram to where i was able to message her any additional questions that came to mind. I went to a couple of different salons to do hair extensions consultations but no one was like Jordin. She was able to get me in the day before my trip (we were working on a three Dayish window) and needless to say I’m OBSESSED. My hair is naturally fine and wavy, so we went with S wave K tips. The blend is perfection, the technique is perfection and at this point it’s safe to say that Jordin’s work all around is perfection. Highly recommend her!

a year agoOlxandra from The Upper Hand Salon at Hyde Park changed my life forever. Not only have I received top-of-the-line, prime-time, first-class haircuts and hair treatments from her, but I’ve also been blessed with her eyebrow architectural skills. If schools gave out PhDs for taking squirrel like eyebrows and turning them into elegant hair sculptures, then Olxandra would be a tenured professor in this business. If you have a singular particle of hair on your body, I recommend you come to The Upper Hand Salon at Hyde Park and ask Olxandra to do something to it. All jokes aside, Olxandra really knows what she’s doing: she bout that life. I feel like setting up a hair appointment with her doubles as therapy too - she’s a great listener, communicator, and the wisdom drips off of her to the point that you leave the salon with newfound knowledge and understanding. This woman has been appointed by God Almighty to do anything and everything beauty, if you don’t believe me go ahead and see for yourself.
