Good salesman, so far so good on windows. Quality is good. My issues aren't product related, rather the ordering was slow, so too was delivery and the eventual install. They will get the job done (eventually) at a fair price but the logistics, communication and back office support are severely lacking.
We had beautiful new triple pane windows installed by Apex and are thrilled with the results. They were appropriately communicative, professional and timely. A company where their promises match their actions! We recommend Apex without hesitation!
In late July, we replaced almost all of our original build, single pane windows with double hung, triple pane windows from Apex Energy Solutions, and we've been very happy with the result so far. A little early to tell the overall impact on the energy costs, but based on a month of data, it looks like our electricity bill has dropped about 10-15%. The west facing master bedroom is much more comfortable now in the late afternoon. I'm looking forward to cooler weather in a few months so that I can take advantage of the double hung window features and integral window screens.
Window replacement is surprisingly expensive, but the Apex price came in significantly less than Renewal by Anderson and Pella for triple pane rather than double pane windows.
A former coworker had his windows replaced about 4 years ago and is still very happy with the windows. His recommendation was part of the reason that I included Apex in the bidding process, and I'm glad that I did.
The Apex folks have been great too, from Zach who was the sales consultant, to Melissa, who kept us informed, and to Edwin and his crew who did the installation.
During the installation, the dust will get further than you expect, so remove anything which you don't want covered in dust. Edwin and crew laid down drop clothes to protect areas within 10-15 feet, but there were some areas beyond 15 feet that still got some dust on them. Edwin and crew did an excellent job with the installation.
The only hiccup was the 4 windows which had to be sent back a few times due production issues. These windows were not standard sized, and the factory had issues the first couple of times.
